Hello Everyone,
We wanted to remind everyone that Copal will be playing at the middle east upstairs this Thursday, Feb 9th as part of the Emergenza competition.

*Copal* (pronounced co-pall) is:

Joe Ball
(Cello)


The group's focus is a merging of classical and contemporary styles encompassing Eastern European, Spanish gypsy, Hip-Hop, and Trance.

Doors open at 9pm, we're scheduled to go on at 11pm.

We are also very excited to announce the launch of the Copal website (www.copalmusic.com)

The primary function of the site right now is to facilitate ticket sales for the show on Thursday.

Here's the break down:
If you buy a ticket from us in person or through the website it will only cost you $10.

If you buy a ticket at the door the evening of the show
it will cost you $25

So, it's in your best interest to buy a ticket ahead of time!

About the evening:

The Emergenza is a yearly competition run by the music
label of the same name. Advancement in the
competition is accomplished through audience
participation. 8 bands play every night. Each band
plays for 20 minutes. The Audience votes for the
bands they like the best by a show of hands. The band
with the most votes goes on to the next round.
