Firefly is a participatory event taking place June 30th - July 3rd in the wilds of Vermont. It is a celebration of creativity, community, and fire. More infomation can be found at fireflyartscollective.org
Please note that we are just warming up for the 2006 event, so parts of the website may not be current.

Firefly will happen on June 30th - July 3rd this year. Ticket sales will begin in April. Information on early arrivals for theme camps and art installations will be announced shortly.

TOWN MEETING - THURSDAY, MARCH 30

Firefly needs you! We are looking for feedback, contributions, volunteers, and organizers to help make Firefly even better this year. Come join us on Thursday, March 30th to get involved. Come prepared with your thoughts on what you might like to see at Firefly this year.

CALL FOR TICKET ART

We would like to feature your art on this year's Firefly tickets! If you are interested, please submit complete front side designs that feature your original art as well this information - "Firefly" and "June 30th - July 3rd, 2006" by April 1. Depending on the quality of the submissions there may be different ticket styles. The ticket size will be 2"x4 1/2". Submitting ticket art does not guarantee that your art will be used. Email wagner@fireflyartscollective.org with your designs.

Think about how you might like to contribute this year! Firefly is all about:

-visual art
-performance art
-installations
-theme camps
-dance performance
-band or other live music
-whatever else

You have approximately four months to scheme, plan, and build... get to work!

VOLUNTEER
**********
Firefly happens only because everyone who attends helps to make it happen. Firefly will have a need for help in the usual areas (greeters, shuttle drivers, rangers, setup/breakdown, criers, etc...). More details to follow, but start to think about how you can help make Firefly happen!
