I’m moving to the Cambridge area next school year to be with my girlfriend. I know it’s early, but we’re starting to look for housemates now because I’m still going to be in LA this summer, she’s going to be in India, and we’re not getting to Boston until after the burn!

While I miss her too much to stay here, I’m pretty sad about leaving California for the northeast. We’d like to share a big house with other fun people, and we think a tribe house would make leaving Cali a lot easier! So we’re looking for other fun/liberal/creative types so we can search for a house together. Couples and singles are equally welcome, but we’re not looking to have a weird couple-y house, so no co-dependent types.

She’s studying international development at Harvard, and I’ll be looking for new work. We like music of all kinds, a kickin dance party, interesting conversation, yoga, a good movie, no cable, a nice mushroom trip, and a community of fun, interesting folks of all stripes. It should go without saying that everyone in the house should know how to clean up after themselves, without being a nazi, and respect everyone’s space, bed time, stuff, etc…

I’m taking care of this first step from LA because she’s in grad school and I have WAY more time. I’ll put together a list of people and she’ll be in contact with those people to meet.
